I started lampworking ( using a torch to melt glass) 12-25-05 with a basic kit my wife bought me for Christmas.   It didn't take long for me to outgrow the basic kit and upgrade all the equipment.  I started out working using a workbench in my garage.  I enjoyed it so much that I built a studio next to my garage within 6 months.  I started out working Moretti glass (soft glass) and quickly took up working in Boro glass (hard glass). 

  I also own my own business in installing and selling custom kitchen cabinets in new homes and remodels.  I enjoy my day job but would love to work with glass full time. 
 My other hobbies include hiking, camping, nature, and photography. I am married with 3 kids and a 4th on the way... (glutton for punishment .. .haha).
